Detoxifying hair bath, steam, condition, & blow-dry. 

The perfect prep for your next style. A nourishing, polishing haircare ritual that makes the hair soft and manageable. The finish includes blow-dry & natural hair, which is braided into two braids. Does not include flat iron or curling iron.



A SOFT SILK BLOWOUT

 Clay detox, scalp scrub, detoxifying hair bath, steam, conditioning treatment, blow-dry, & thermal smoothing tailored to the unique needs and state of the hair.


Our spa like silk press blowout service. A natural smoothing and disciplinary treatment to obtain brilliant, silky hair.


This treatment-focused experience begins with a pre-shampoo clay detox mask, an exfoliating scalp scrub, hydrating steam & a professional multi-step deep conditioning treatment intended to repair the cuticle and replenish dry hair’s optimal hydration and lipid levels.  Treatments will lock in moisture and silken the hair to help aid in extending the life of your blowout. This service includes a blow-dry, bespoke thermal smoothing and finish. 

RESTORATIVE BLOWOUT

est. 2.75 HR. • $285+

Clay detox, scalp scrub, hair bath, steam, heat activated conditioning treatment, blow-dry, trim & thermal smoothing tailored to the unique needs and state of hair.

This service renews, treats, and nourishes difficult-to-manage hair. Includes everything in our spa like SOFT Silk Blowout plus an intense heat activated hydration treatment and maintenance cut. Finish includes blow-dry, bespoke thermal smoothing and finish.

All services include a scalp detox, hair bath to remove dirt and product buildup, an invigorating scalp wellness massage, plus steam and a deep penetrating hair mask for an aromatherapeutic sensory experience that will restore your hair’s natural shine and health.
The services above do not include detangling. If detangling is needed, please add on 30 minutes of additional time and book the detangling service.

All services are based on time. If your service requires more time due to the density, length, or condition of the hair, the cost for the additional time will be added in increments of 15 minutes.

Cancellations

Please give 48 hours notice (or more) if you need to cancel an appointment. Appointments canceled or rescheduled within the 24-hour window will be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s). No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged the total price of the scheduled service(s). A credit card is required to secure hair appointments.

The Story

SOFT salon was envisioned by entrepreneur and cosmetologist Paris Severino in 2017. 

The blow-dry salon concept neglected the unique needs of women with textured hair. Paris dedicated herself to changing this reality, centering women with textured hair in her business model.

Relying on her cosmetology training at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C., and her years of experience in business operations, marketing & brand management — Paris mapped out her ideas on a whiteboard in her Bed-Stuy apartment. The original plan was to open SOFT salon in Spring 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic altered the timeline. 

During this time, Paris became a mother. This further deepened her understanding of how challenging it can be to find the time for soft moments, wellness & self-care. 

SOFT is more than just a “blow-dry bar”; it’s a sanctuary for busy executives, work-at-home moms, and everyone in between. 

The SOFT team is committed to nourishing hair care experiences that attend to total hair wellness on time, so you can look & feel beautiful.
